Cecil Township Municipal Authority Resolution
2 of 2005
Cecil Township Municipal Authority issued
Resolution 2 of 2005 based on changes in the tap-in fee laws
of the State of Pennsylvania. The resolution updates Resolution
05-02-86 as amended on numerous occasions over the years,
most recently by 2-02-95. The Authority has expended funds
in various sewage districts for the creation of treatment
capacity and facilities. In so doing, the Authority desires
to recaptures said expenditures in fairness to each respective
service area. The Authority consistent with the Municipal
Authorities Act prepared and adopted tap fee calculation rates
with regards to each of the sewage districts. Resolution 2
of 2005 hereby establishes the current fee structure. The
fee structure will be reviewed periodically as stated in the
law.

Resolution 3 of 2008 establishes sanitary sewer charges in the
following areas of the township:

The Teodori
District is the area with a Lawrence, PA address. Current
customers in the district are the Teodori Business Park, Georgetown
Estates and Hill Station Manor.
The Brush
Run District is the area with a Canonsburg, PA and Muse,
PA address. The area currently services the village of Muse
and the Rout 980 corridor, Pristine Fields, Mayfair Meadows,
Heartwood Farms and the O'Hare Road area. In addition, the
rosewood and Alto Piano subdivisions are part of the district.
The Cherrybrook
District is the area with a Bridgeville, PA address. The
current customers are in the Cherrybrook, Fellowship Homes
and Red Oak subdivisions and a few properties located along
Morganza Road.
The Southpointe
District is the area with a Canonsburg, PA address located
in the Southpointe Business Park. It consists of both residential
and commercial developments.
The Millers Run District is the area located along S.R. 50. The area services properties with Canonsburg, Cecil and McDonald, PA addresses.
